Pack what you need so you don’t overspend

Believe it or not, a lot of people will skip out on packing what they need and tell themselves “I’ll just buy it when I’m there”. Sure, you’re saving space in your luggage now, but that will take up space, not to mention there may be price differences, or you can’t find what you’re needing.

Know the size differences

If you’re planning on buying clothes or shoes while abroad it’s best to consider the fact that sizing is going to be vastly different than what you’re used to.

Both the US and Europe have different sizes but then it can go a step further as each country has its own special sizing as well. It can get pretty confusing overall. So it may be handy to have a sizing chart on hand (such as on your phone), as this may help you out. But if possible, try and try on the clothes in a changing room to ensure that you’re getting the right size.

Google Reviews is going to be your friend. This, and Google Maps will help you look at user-submitted images, reviews, and so much more about the stores.

This can be a way to help narrow down where some of the best shopping streets and stores are located. But you can also look around for tourist maps as these usually show off where some of the best shops are and from time to time there will be coupons attached as well.
