This restaurant is present in almost any list of recommended restaurants of Sitges and we were curious to see what it is all about.
Soon enough we realized, it definitely should stay in literally every list of recommended places to eat good food in Sitges.
Monthly menus are what makes it always fresh, interesting and new.
The main logic is using seasonal ingredients and that concept simply never fails.
The food is fresh, of a good quality and creativity and innovation is just another trademark of NeM.
Meals are prepared in tapa-versions or small-sized portions with the aim to give you an opportunity to try several different dishes.
They are using molecular cuisine techniques to make their food even more attractive, unique and different.
Also, they experiment (and I would say, very successfully) with combining different, exotic and rare spices and tastes.
Some of the magical dishes from the menu:
- Mozzarella, avocado, lime, coffee, tomato salad
- Hummus, Kalamata, cucumber, feta cheese, oregano

Even thought the prices might look slightly higher than regular, the quality of food justifies it completely.
Location -> EL RACO DE CAN TRAVER
7. EL DONOSTIARRA
This restaurant is a typical Basque taverna where you can eat famous pinchos.
Pincho is a slice of a baguette bread topped up with different foods – can be crab salad, Russian salad, a slice of Spanish omelet, croquette, grilled meat, Spanish Jamon (Ham), Goat cheese with olives…(options are endless) and then pinched with a pick (toothpick).
Pinchos are the most authentic food of Basque Country but widely popular in whole Spain.
If you haven’t tried pinchos – there is no better place to fall in love with pincho concept, then this restaurant.
It reflects the most typical Basque tavern with it’s loud and busy atmosphere, always packed with people.
How to choose the right pincho?
They are all displayed on a bar. At the beginning, you get a plate, chose based on what looks appealing to you, and serve to your plate whatever pincho you like from the bar.
You go to your table, you eat your pinchos (ask for some drink as well) and, then you approach to the cash register holding your plate so the cashier can count the number of the picks (the number of pinchos you have eaten) and you pay for it. Cheating is a big no, no, no!
So, basically, there is no menu for the food – it’s all displayed and you can choose whatever catches your attention.
Location -> EL DONOSTIARRA
8. VEGGIE GARDEN
“Natural tastes good, green looks great, and you’ll feel fantastic” is the slogan of this restaurant and it reflects it quite good.
Endless vegan and vegetarian options of food, healthy looking meals, fresh and incredibly tasty.
They offer amazing energy boosting fruit & vegetables drinks – lemonades, natural juices, vegan cocktails…
